ESD and Antistatic packaging
Usually it is easy to confuse ESD packaging with antistatic packaging.
First of all, ESD packaging (electrostatic discharge), is the packaging that maintain perfectly its antistatic capacities for its useful life. So, it always preserves its antistatic qualities.
On the other hand, antistatic packaging protects the same way as ESD packaging, but it loses its antistatic qualities during its useful life. Consequently, its ability to protect discharge deteriorates with the months.
In Cadepa we work with materials with both qualities, but we always select the most efficient material depending in the useful life of the packaging needed. The most efficient materials for ESD and antistatic packaging are textiles, polypropylene and polyethylene foams.
Cadepa has facilities for sewing of those textiles. We also have the equipment for the cut and weld of polypropylene and we have the equipment to transform foams. Adding all of this, we can offer a wide range of antistatic solutions.
In Cadepa, we design and produce packaging that avoid possible static discharge of electronic equipment. For instance, some discharge can seriously damage electronic products.
For years we have specialized in antistatic and ESD packaging, giving solutions to national and international of automobile and electronic sectors.
